How To: Add a new Web Service Schedule

The following page will be displayed.

·        Schedule Name: The name of the web service.

·        Description: Purpose or details of the web service.

·        Web Service URL: A URL address of the web service being called.

·        (Schedule) Type and Repeat Interval:

Schedule Type

Repeat Interval Type

Intra-day is multiple times a day

set by minutes
(15, 30, 60, 120, 240, or 720 minutes)

Daily is once every given number of days

set by number of days
(1 up to 15 days)

Weekly is once every set number of weeks

set by number of weeks
(every 1-8 week(s))

and

what day of the week
(Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)


 

Monthly is once every given number on months

set by a day of the month,
(1-30 date of the Month)

or

first-fifth day
(Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) of the month

and

which month(s) of the year
(January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December.)

·        Start:

o   Time: Type or scroll to the time you wish the process to begin.

o   Date: Type the date the scheduled process will start running.

·        Parameters: Add the parameters required or utilized by this scheduled web service. Parameters will be defined by the creator of the web service and may be any type of data.

o   Name: Name of the parameter bring passed

o   Value: Value of the parameter being passed

 When creating parameters, it is important that they be placed in the proper order.  If a parameter which is required by the web service is sent out of order, it could halt the service or generate a data error.

Once all needed information has been entered correctly, Save and Deploy.
